Paella de Marisco/Seafood Paella

Paella is probably the most popular Spanish food and is appreciated all over the world. It’s best known that Paella is also the name of its pan. This famous dish takes its name from the same pan.

Besides, it’s not clear where Paella is born. Indeed, Catalonia and Valencia claim that it was born in their territory. Surely, Valencia has a strong Paella tradition that is dating back to the 18th century.

In addition, close to Valencia, precisely in Albufera, Valencian rice is grown. The Valencian rice is Protected Designation of Origin (PDO).

Valencian rice DPO covers three varieties, namely, Senia, Baia, and Bomba.
